As you may have guessed, we were. A homeowner suffered water damage to their kitchen cabinets. The insurance company agreed to replace their kitchen cabinets but not the existing granite countertops that were sitting on top of the damaged cabinets. As the old expression goes, this is like placing the cart before the horse. It is virtually impossible to remove damaged cabinets without breaking the existing granite countertops. The impossible became possible and the finished picture shows the homeowner’s new IKEA brand cabinets along with a picture of their family sized kitchen storage cabinet.
